CAVA D'ISPICA

Situated along a narrow valley which spreads for 13 km , it is one of the most important quarries of the hyblaean’s plateau and one of the greatest archaeological importance places because of its many evidences dating back to the neolithic,
greek, byzantine and christian and medieval era.

• Starting point and transfer to Cava d’Ispica;
   
• Tour inside the quarry and visit of the “ Sicano Castle “, together with guides specialized in environmental excursions;
   
• Packed lunch or lunch in a farm holiday;
   
• Transfer to Modica;
   
• Local products tasting (chocolate made in Modica, typical sweets, etc.), offered by the cooperative society;
